Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026.
Marker Workspace is a private tool for planning garment cutting markers, run by the owner of sevenoaksfashion.com for invited users only. This policy says what it stores, where, and what it does with data from your Google account.
What we collect
- Your Google account's email address, when you sign in through Google. It's used to check that your account is allowed in, and it's recorded in the service's logs beside each change you make (for example, "change by you@example.com: rename job").
- What you put into the app: the pattern files you import (DXF/RUL), the job settings and decisions you make, and the layouts and results the app calculates.
The app uses no advertising, analytics or tracking. The only cookie is Google's sign-in cookie, which keeps you signed in.
Where it's stored
- Your jobs are stored in a private Google Cloud Storage bucket in London (Google Cloud region
europe-west2), which only the app and its owner can read. - Earlier versions of each record are kept for 90 days, so mistakes can be undone. A weekly backup is kept in a separate private bucket, and the newest 8 are kept.
- Service logs are kept in Google Cloud Logging, as Google's standard retention allows.
Google Drive
- The app asks for Google's
drive.filepermission, which only reaches files and folders the app itself creates. It can't see, read or change anything else in your Drive. - It writes to your Drive only when you press Save to Google Drive, into a Marker Workspace folder. Saving the same file again replaces it, and Drive keeps the earlier copy in its version history.
- The access Google grants is stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager, and is used for nothing else.
- You can remove the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Files already saved stay in your Drive.
Marker Workspace's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data from your Google account is used only to sign you in and to save the files you ask it to save; it isn't used for advertising, isn't sold, and isn't transferred to anyone else.
Who it's shared with
Nobody. Your data isn't sold or shared. It's processed by Google Cloud, which hosts the app, under Google's terms. Pattern files imported from a private pattern repository are read from GitHub with read-only access.
Deleting your data
Deleting a job in the app removes it and its runs. Earlier versions are removed after 90 days, and weekly backups after 8 weeks. To have everything about you removed sooner, contact the owner below.
